Kazuo Yairi crafted this guitar
because he believed that the domed back would yield a
sound and volume of unique quality...but only if the
materials used were in harmony with the shape.
Eleven pieces each of mahogany, rosewood and maple,
shaped and finished by hand, compose the domed back.
Traditional Canadian Spruce is used on the top and the
braces are acoustically "tuned" to balance the
tonal property of each instrument. The ebony bridge and
fingerboard are of the highest quality. The herringbone
inlay around the body and sound hole is hand crafted
